Paterson Street Hub is a community space on the main street in Tennant Creek for community members to meet, share ideas and stories, connect with each other and seek assistance.
The Hub has been established in partnership between a philanthropic supporter, First Peoples Disability Network Australia and local  community members. Between 25-60 community members drop into the Hub on a daily basis to participate in a  range of activities, including information sessions, reading books and magazines, singing and drumming, having informal ‘pop-up’ chats about local community matters and events, cooking, connecting and playing with their babies and toddlers, and becoming involved in art projects.

The aim of the Hub is to strengthen and support the social fabric of the Barkly community by celebrating the connections between people.
