FPDN’s Disability Business Training is for National Disability Advocacy Providers (NDAP’s) who are providing to support to Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people with disability, their families, carers and communities to engage with the Royal Commission into Violence, Abuse, Neglect and Exploitation of People with Disability (Disability Royal Commission).

Our Disability Business Training is an interactive journey through the Indigenous disability perspective and has been created using the traditional method of Aboriginal art, storytelling and yarning to provide participants with the tools to engage in a culturally safe, respectful and meaningful way when supporting Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people with disability to better understand the work of the Disability Royal Commission, know their rights, keep safe and be supported if they choose to share their story with the Disability Royal Commission.

Training participants will also receive a resource kit designed by FPDN to support their work in engaging with Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people with disability, their families and communities.

Disability Business Training is open to National Disability Advocacy Providers who are funded by the Disability Royal Commission.
