Paterson St Hub

Paterson Street Hub is a community space in Tennant Creek, Northern Territory for community members to meet, share ideas and stories, connect with each other and seek assistance.

The Hub has been established by First Peoples Disability Network in partnership with a philanthropic supporter and local community members. Between 25-60 community members drop into the Hub on a daily basis to participate in a range of activities, including information sessions, reading books and magazines, singing and drumming, informal ‘pop-up’ chats about local community matters and events, cooking, connecting and playing with their babies and toddlers, and becoming involved in art projects.
Paterson St Hub Symbol of a gathering

The aim of the Hub is to strengthen and support the social fabric of the Barkly community by celebrating the connections between people.
