August 9 commemorates the International Day of the Worlds’ Indigenous peoples, celebrated around the world to mark the date of the inaugural session of the Working Group on Indigenous Populations at the United Nations in 1982. This year’s theme is COVID-19 and Indigenous Peoples resilience.
In this webinar, a panel from First Peoples Disability Network celebrate World Indigenous Peoples Day and will be speaking on the Rights of Indigenous peoples and the strength and resilience of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples with disability in the face of COVID-19.
